The Pitfalls of "Easy-Looking" No-Code Tools

"We want you to port our existing HTML to a no-code tool like STUDIO." Recently, we received such a consultation. Looking only at the text, it seemed simple enough since the existing code was already there. However, immediately after starting the work, we realized a "fatal trap" that completely neutralized our greatest 【strength】.

The Core Failure: "Operator Work" Impossible to Solve with Code

The "porting" the client desired was not the "advanced programming and AI bulk conversion" that we excel at. What they wanted was to have the original design 【reconstructed purely through manual mouse operations (tracing) on the no-code tool's screen】 so their internal staff could intuitively update it later.

This methodology is known as GUI Development. Even for logic and layouts that we could build in minutes with code, the specifications of no-code tools required tens of hours of manual clicking to set properties. It was a world where our highest value proposition—"high-speed, high-quality system building using AI"—was completely useless.

The Decision to Withdraw and Lessons Learned

Realizing this situation, we determined that "proceeding further would not provide essential value to the client, but would merely devolve into inefficient hourly operator labor." Thus, we made the decision to withdraw (cancel) early.

Refusing to cling to short-term revenue and quickly acknowledging a mismatch to step away is a critical 【business decision】 for a professional. From this failure, we have embedded a strict rule into our system (AI Sniper Bot): "Never accept projects that rely on platform-specific GUI operations, such as No-Code Tools."
